The lies keeping you stuck aren't dramatic.

They're small. Survival lies.

"I'm fine." "It's not a big deal." "I'll deal with it later."

These aren't character flaws—they're emotional armor. They keep you functional but disconnected.

And when you lie to yourself, you lose direction. You lose power.

So here's the integrity check I use daily:

Where am I pretending I'm okay when I'm not? What truth am I avoiding? Where was I dishonest with myself or someone else?

We can't fix what we can't see.

Scrolling → overwhelm Food → stress Staying busy → avoiding feelings

The habit isn't the issue. It's what you're avoiding.

Start noticing the moment before you reach for it. What are you feeling?

Then ask: "What do I actually need right now?"

Most of the time it's not the scroll. It's regulation, rest, connection, or boundaries.

If you don't identify what you're avoiding, you'll keep losing the negotiation with yourself.

You just need to know how to get to the root💤

So much of what defines me today is the story of my health.

Being 23 with debilitating symptoms from insomnia. averaging only a couple hours per night my recall, memory, and focus were barely functioning making it difficult to hold my job, maintain my relationships or even manage my emotions.

I started working with countless traditional doctors and specialists but was continued to be let down when I found their only solution was to slap a band-aid on my problem and not look for an underlying cause. This is when I hit rock bottom, a feeling of little hope with no place to turn.

It was this moment that sparked a fire in me to do everything in my power to heal myself. Thus began a $180,000 and arduous 10 year journey to learn all I could about best sleep practices, nutrition, movement, meditation and diving into my emotional blocks.

I found that it was by addressing these core foundations of health that real healing began.

I’m lucky to have the health I do today but owe it to holistic practices of the mind and body. It was this experience and knowledge gained that has given me a passion and ability to help others heal their sleep.

It’s odd to say but I am truly thankful for that painful journey because it’s led me here.
